Knowing God
God Loves You
No matter who you are or what you’ve done, God loves you. He created you on purpose and for a purpose — to have a personal relationship with Him.
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” – Jeremiah 31:3
From the very beginning, God designed us to walk with Him in love and purpose. But sin — our decision to go our own way — separates us from that relationship.
Our Problem: Sin Separates Us from God
Every one of us has sinned — we’ve all fallen short of God’s perfect standard.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
Sin brings brokenness into our lives and creates a gap between us and God that we can’t fix on our own. No amount of good deeds, religion, or effort can bridge that gap.
God’s Solution: Jesus Christ
The good news is that God didn’t leave us in our sin. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to rescue us. Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, and rose again — conquering death and offering us new life.
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
Because of Jesus, we can be forgiven, restored, and brought into right relationship with God.
Our Response: Receive Jesus by Faith
Knowing God isn’t about rules or religion — it’s about relationship. You can begin that relationship today by trusting in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9
Salvation is God’s free gift. You don’t earn it — you receive it by faith.
Here’s a simple prayer you can say from your heart:
“Jesus, I know that I’ve sinned, and I need You. I believe You died for me and rose again so that I could be forgiven and have new life. Today I turn from my old ways and invite You into my heart. Be my Savior, be my Lord, and lead me every day. Amen.”
